 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America, she was born in Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actress in her early years as a child. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and now from 2020 on - has made her famous. Her commercial appearances were not the only thing she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and her fled antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She earned a GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
