Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus on 23rd November, 1992 is an American artist, singer and actress. Famous for her unique vocals that are raspy, her music is a blend of elements of a variety of styles and genres, including pop, country pop, hip hop, experimental, and rock. With thirteen entries, Cyrus holds the record for the most US Billboard 200 top five albums of the 21st century from an artist who is female. Cyrus's life in the public eye, her image and performances often caused controversy and received significant media coverage. Cyrus, a daughter of country music star Billy Ray Cyrus, emerged as a teen idol while playing the lead character in Hannah Montana, a Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana (2006-2011). She was Hannah Montana's number-one and third-five top-five album, as well as the US Billboard Hot 100 Top-ten single "He Could be the One." Cyrus's own discography includes the US top-ranked albums Meet Miley Cyrus (2007), Breakout (2008) and Bangerz (2012); the top five album releases, Can't be Tamed (2017) Younger Now (2017) and Plastic Hearts (2020); and Miley Cyrus and His Dead Petz (2015). She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. Cyrus was an actress and was seen in Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2010) and The Last Song (2010). Cyrus was an instructor on The Voice for two seasons and also appeared in "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too", a Netflix episode of Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is a proponent of animal rights. She adopted a vegan lifestyle in 2014; she also founded the non-profit Happy Hippie Foundation in 2014 which is focused on homeless youth and the LGBT community.
